Lovely video,rational analysis. Pep just twisted the back line formation in the moving mode. which would allow City to have 3 DCM ( 16,27,11) when defending and 2 more AMF (27. & 11) ,1 or 2 more forwards (7,9,47,8,20) when attacking.The midfielders ,the striker plus the full backs are playing duel roles and their switching roles make it very difficult for opponent teams to cope.The quality of the players make Pep’s full attacking football work!

one thing i love about this current City team is that nobody understood what Pep said when he said he wanted his players to run less. then their fullbacks don’t need to push high up the field and the forwards are able to be so much more direct than industrious in breaking teams down in the new system. none of the players are making as many physically taxing and inefficient runs, so they can be more effective in their runs

Rodri is so good just lacks the legs to be a single DM imo. I think Pep started playing FM after the Spurs loss in November and realized how OP inverted wing backs are. Now they haven't lost in 22 games

Jesus has to do more than "stay away from the penalty box" and be selfless for me Jim. Doesn't contribute enough in the build up play to make up for his lack of goals. I don't know if you can stay in a team like this by making dummy runs and offering not enough else. They're good enough as a team for now, but the real acid test will be the late stages of the CL again
