He did not have em in Boston when he was efficient being mentioned among the likes of Bird in terms of efficient seasons. @Smd_ thats your opinion..I respect that..but way better is an overstatement..I might give Steph the edge too...but its always been close..if you've been really following Dames career he has always been top 3 gaurd in the league..since his rookie year when he won Rookie Of The Year He plays in Portland so he doesn't get the recognition as players in the bigger markets..but Damian has outplayed Steph in several matchups..and vice versa its about even if you look at their matchup stats, its just that Steph has always had a much better team...when you have great teammates who can shoot like Klay and KD, .it makes it alot easier for Steph to get open looks..Steph rarely gets double teamed when they matchup because he has so many shooters around him...Dame always get double teamed in playoffs. In fact in Stephs first finals without KD he played poorly and Iggy took home the finals MVP, then against Cleveland Kyre ...out played him..and he had a marginal series performance...Kyre Dame and Steph are my top 3 players but if...you understanding the X O's of the game Steph clearly has a better advantage in the system he plays..just being honest

@Smd_ True but ..over the last 3 years still debatable..when you consider the roster makeup Steph has by comparison...Dame would have just as many rings as Steph if he played with KD, Klay and Drammond, his best teammate is a very good but inconsistent and always injured CJ (not nearly on the level of KD and Klay)

@vbddfy euuyt He does but he does make a valid point about market..Portland is not the same market as NY, LA , Golden State, Miami etc...so you don't hear about them that much and they get less TV time than the big markets..but of course the same can be said for OKC..but still Westbrooks gets alot of press and he's no where close to Dame. Damian is the rel deal and has been for long time...Portland has always been an ignored market even when Walton won the Chip ..and as good as Drexler was..he didn't get the coverage..he was just considered a west coast version of MJ and probably the most underrated player before his tragic career ending illness Brandon Roy..didn't get the props he deserved either
